Program Evaluator's Guidelines Photo Gallery TV Video

The Project Citizen showcase was held on May 13, 2010 at the Washington State Capitol, with the opening and closing being held in the Senate Chambers, and the competition being held in the Cherberg Building. The agenda and participants are set forth in the Program and the criteria used in the judging are set forth in the Evaluator's Guidelines. This is the annual culmination of the district showcases with the best of the best. The best Portfolio goes on to the National proceedings held in Washington, DC.

While everyone of the contestants is a winner, the top two are the school selected for the best oral presentation, and the school presenting the best Portfolio. Photographs of the portfolios and the entire proceedings are shown in the photo gallery. The event was also televised by TVW.org

The Portfolio selected by the judges to go to the National was that of Hawkins Middle School. Congratulations to all the students and teachers who participated.
